Why God doesn’t answer all of our “Why” questions

Why God doesn’t answer all of our “Why” questions

Why did this happen?

Why was this man born blind? (Disciples asked Jesus)
Why was I born into this family or this country?
Why is there so much suffering in the world?
Why did this person die?
Why was John the Baptist (Jesus’s cousin) beheaded by an heathen King?

Why did the tower of Siloam collapse killing 18 people?

Sometimes it might even look as He is NOT listening to us.
Sometimes we can not feel His presence.

But never for once think He is NOT with us in those situations.
He said “Even if we walk thru fire, or water, HE WILL BE WITH US”
Jesus was with the disciples in that terrific storm which claimed all their goods and caused them the greatest panics of their life. He was there SLEEPING.

While He would not answer all of our why questions, He is there giving us strength to carry on.
He is there filling us with peace that passes all understanding.
He is there speaking peace to the raging storm, doing the healing of the boy born blind, teaching us some life’s valuable lessons, etc.
He is there working all things together for our greater good.

Why do bad things happen?
Why do the righteous suffer sometimes?
Why don’t all problems get fixed the moment we accepted Christ?
Why are there brokenness, war, terrorism, bad marriages, etc?
Why do we NOT automatically have all our needs met?
Why do we have to apply “faith” for things that are meant to work naturally?

Please note this:
God did and does NOT cause any evil.
He has no hand in any evil.
He does not tempt anyone.
He does not plan for any evil to happen.

Evil happens because of the broken world.
Sin has caused so much damage to the world and tempered with nature, subjecting it to DECAY.

Romans 8:20-28 says it all
“20. For the creation was subjected to frustration (decay), not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.

22. We know that the WHOLE CREATION HAS BEEN GROANING as in the pains of childbirth right UP TO THE PRESENT TIME. And not only the creation, but WE OURSELVES, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, THE REDEMPTION OF OUR BODIES.

24.For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

26. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

28. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Wooooooooooooow!

There is a timeline in God’s agenda for human ‘s total redemption called REDEMPTION OF OUR BODIES. That is when the whole creation, the nature will be delivered from its decay, it’s turmoil. That is when there will be PHYSICAL RESTORATION OF ALL THINGS.

The full understanding of this timelines will help us view things in the right perspective without asking too many questions or getting mad at God when we haven’t found answers.

That is why anyone propagating that “Once you accept Christ, and have enough faith, all your problems will disappear “, such is propagating a FALSE GOSPEL.

Anyone using the gospel to answer physical problems or a QUEST FOR BETTER LIFE is missing it big time.

Like I once said “Jesus first coming was NOT to give us better life but Eternal Life.”

Eternal Life is a life that is indestructible.

Which means a man with Eternal Life may pass thru storms but GOD’S LIFE IN HIM JUST DOES NOT GO AWAY. IT CANNOT BE DESTROYED BY NATURE.
.
Jesus was physically killed BUT HE WAS VICTORIOUS IN DEATH AND OVER DEATH.
Grave cannot hold Him captive.

While Eternal Life will not necessarily stop the storm, IT WILL PRESERVE YOU THRU THE STORM. It is God’s Immortality.

Verse 26 gave us the key :
Likewise the Spirit helps our weaknesses.
Why? Because we would always have the weaknesses.
Even the great Apostle Paul had moments of weaknesses. And He wrote “He would rather glory in those weaknesses that the power of Christ would rest on Him”

At a time, He pleaded with the Lord 3 times to take the infirmity away. BUT THE LORD REPLIED HIM
“MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR YOU. FOR MY POWER IS MADE PERFECT IN WEAKNESS ” That is the Preservation Power of Eternal Life in Christ Jesus.

Verse 26 continues:
The Spirit helps our weaknesses. For we do not even know what to pray as we ought.
When we go through so many circumstances, we don’t know the types of prayers we should pray. That is why some people result into “fall down and die” prayers at such times. While some others blame God or condemn themselves.

But the Lord wants us to RESORT TO DEPENDING ON THE HOLY SPIRIT AT THAT TIME TO PRAY RIGHT ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF GOD.

The Spirit intercedes for us with groaning too deep for words. He prays for us according to the Will of God. And there is Spiritual communication of His heart to the Father on our behalf. THIS THE HOLY SPIRIT DOES ON OUR BEHALF.

However, to be part of what He does for us, to feel the impact of His prayers for us, we should pray in the Spirit at such a time like this.
When we pray in the Spirit, our mind is unfruitful and we speak mysteries to God. We also build up ourselves in the most Holy faith.

The Result :
Verse 28 therefore summaries the result.
IN ALL THINGS, GOD WORKS FOR THE GOOD OF THOSE WHO LOVE HIM AND ARE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE.

The Lord does not cause all things. He doesn’t cause evils.
However, HE IS ABLE TO TURN ALL THINGS AROUND FOR OUR GREATER GOOD.

For Joseph, because he had a dream, the enemy rose and introduced corruptions and decay. He was thrown into the pit, portiphar and prison. But the Lord turned it all around for Him.

While we cannot boast of a ride without storm, we can boast of His presence with us during the storm and how He will calm the storm and take us to the other side.

We can boast of A PEACE THAT PASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING WHICH MOUNT GUARD OVER OUR MIND AND SOUL IN CHRIST JESUS.

Son of God, be strong, be encouraged. No matter what you are passing through, it is NOT your end. THE LORD WILL COME THRU FOR YOU.

I don’t know why I wrote these words but the Lord gave them to me and woke me up with them few minutes ago.

And I trust that one or two people are encouraged and deeply ministered to with these words and I hope some timely questions are answered.

Peace be unto you in Christ. Amen.
